Interlocking Radiation Shields for PET

These interlocking radiation shields for PET are made of 2" (5.08 cm) thick lead with lead-filled posts and an additional filled post for the interlock. The base of each shield has four 6” (15.24 cm) diameter swivel locking ball bearing casters. The base of the bed end shield is higher for placement over the base of the side shield. This allows the shields to abut to each other. Each shield has handles on both sides and both ends. The shields can be made adjustable for height movement up and down.
