Cs-137 Disk Source

Rod and Disk Sources provide a safe and convenient method of calibration and quality control of scintillation detectors and well counters. Many Rod Sources are NIST traceable within ±5% at the 99% confidence level. Nominal activities are also available.Used for Survey Meter Checks.

 

Each rod source consists of a lucite rod measuring 5” x 0.5” or 2.95” x 0.5”. The activity is located in a 0.187” x 0.187” well, positioned approximately 0.250” from the top of the rod.
