Environmental Shield

Reduce background radiation more than 10 times with the environmental shield. Fits any Capintec CRC dose calibrator with a remote ionization chamber, the shields consists of 9 interlocking lead rings that surround the chamber. Uniform wall thickness (4 cm standard, or 1 1/2”) also reduces radiation exposure during calibration. The lead contains 3% antimony for added strength.
