100% Aloe Vera Gel, not water, is the base for ALRA Therapy Lotion. Aloe Vera has been shown to relieve pain, burning and itching sensations and has been associated with accelerated healing of skin with radiation burns.
Vitamin E acts as an anti-oxidant, preventing the release of free radicals which are the cause of oxidative damage to cell membranes. Vitamin E passes through the epidermis into the dermis and works from within.
Soluble Collagen is a very effective moisturizer that binds and retains many times its own weight in water.
Allantoin helps burned skin to regenerate itself by promoting and stimulating new and healthy tissue growth.
Lanolin is a natural moisturizer. The special form of Lanolin used in ALRA Therapy Lotion is extremely mild and soothing, with long-lasting lubricating effects on the skin.
