PET Sharps Shield

The Sharps Container Shield for PET is a simple, safe and convenient solution for disposal of syringes that have been contaminated with high energy radionuclides. The shield is constructed of steel and lined with 1" thick (2.5 cm) lead. The 12” h x 8.75” diameter Shield is designed to be used with J039-413 Monoject Sharps Containers. It features a lockable, sliding top door for container removal and a shielded, hinged cover for syringe disposal. The Shield can stand independently or can be recessed into a cabinet or countertop. Weight 175 lb.

PET Modular Recessed or
Countertop Sharps Shield

These 1/2" or 1” thick lead-lined Sharps Container Shields can be recessed into a countertop or used on top of the counter. The 12” x 12” x 10” Standard Shield allows for the use of two Sharps containers. One side of the shield houses the Sharps container being filled; the other side holds a full Sharps container that is being stored for decay.

The space-saving 12” x 6” x 10” Mini- Sharps Container Shield is designed to hold a one gallon Sharps container. Both units can be locked to meet OSHA standards. Modular design for easy assembly.

Sharps Shields

These steel Sharps Container Shields are lined with either 1/2" or 1” thick lead. The 11.5” w x 6.5” d x 13” h shield allows for the use of one Sharps container. The 11.5” w x 13” d x 9” h shield allows for the use of two Sharps containers. One side of the shield houses the Sharps container being filled; the other side holds a full Sharps container that is being stored for decay. Shield can be locked to meet OSHA standards.
