The rugged DMC-2000S Personal Electronic Dosimeter measures dose and dose rate. It can also be used as an area monitor. The DMC-2000S has both audible and visual alarms as well as a large internal histogram memory. Its self-testing protocol checks the battery, detector and system parameters. The DMC-2000S Personal Electronic Dosimeter features flat energy response to x-ray and gamma radiation from 50keV to 6Mev and linear response to dose rate fields from natural background up to more than 10 Sv/h. The PAM-1 is a personal alarm module designed for enhancing the alarm features of the DMC2000S, DMC2000X and DMC2000XB electronic dosimeters. It is a clam-shell type device which features loud audible buzzer, vibration, earphone and LED attachment. The PAM is ideal for use in high noise areas to augment the electronic dosimeter alarms. The IRD-2000 is a desktop calibration system designed for the DMC- 2000 and SOR electronic dosimeters. The IRD -2000 System includes: Irradiation & Acquisition modules, DosiCal Software and 10 mCi Cs-137 Source ( requires facility radioactive materials license). The IRD-2000 calibration system can check/calibrate over 50 electronic dosimeters per hour (up to 150 with 2nd irradiation module). The IRD-2000 is an efficient calibration solution for nuclear power plants, labs, universities, defense facilities and any facility with a substantial inventory of DMC-2000 or SOR electronic dosimeters. The DMC-2000S used in conjunction with the LDM-210, or LDM-220 Dosimeter Readers provides unequaled operational flexibility. |
